This is probably the best you could do for this price range in Paris center. Don't expect Hayat level comfort, this is a smaller hotel with basic amenities and facilities. However, it is absolutely fine and enough to get by. It's very conveniently located, right by "Republique" subway station. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores around, absolutely no problem with that. The area is clean and safe (which is very important for Paris). I walked around the neighborhood at late evening and nights, and it was perfectly fine. Rare thing in Paris. You can walk to the city center, Seine river, Picasso museum is just 5 min walk away, Pompidou Center is around 15 to 20 min walk. For longer trips subway is fine (couple of stations around). It's not the very precise center to be exact, but you can walk (or ride subway) to anywhere you want. I enjoy walking the city, so 15 to 25 min to Seine, and around 40 min to Musee D'Orsay is a pleasant walk to me. Hotel has all basic amenities, everything you need is in the room. Pretty decent for the price range. The staff is nice and welcoming! The biggest advantage of this place is its location: it's in a close proximity to city center, all museums and galleries, the Seine River, etc.

The location was good, close to shops, restaurants and public transports. I actually preferred walking to Notre Dame, LVHB, etc which is just 30 mins and you get to discover other places of interest along the way. The room was a bit small and the shower had a long shower curtain which was not very easy during shower but I managed somehow during my 5 nights stay. The air condition was not yet in operation when I stayed, lucky it wasn't that hot yet during the night. The room has a nice terrace window, typical of Paris, which I could left open at night but it was noisy sometimes. There is a very nice boulangerie just in the corner and it's perfect for breakfast. Don't forget to try the Bouillion Republique which is just a few steps from the hotel. It is one of the most authentic French restaurant you could experience and the food is so cheap. There is a long queue everyday so it's worth to book. Also, the hotel is just 2 or 3 blocks away from Canal St Martin, a lovely discovery during my many walks around the area near the hotel.

The location is perfect: next to a traditional bakery and close to many restaurants (especially Bouillon, the typical french brasserie) and cafés, but also only two or three steps away from the Place de la République, whose subway station is a central hub allowing you to go many places without any change. Besides, the hotel staff was incredibly helpful in all matters (some of them going well beyond the hotel itself) and we had the nice surprise to discover a tiny balcony at the corner of our room, which wasn't big enough to stand on, but still offered us the feeling of a real balcony, overlooking a nice and quiet square with lots of trees !

My room was small however it was on 7th floor and looked over the roof tops of Paris to the Eiffel Tower. Perfect! The bed was incredibly comfy and so were the pillows which meant I had a great nights sleep which I don’t always get in hotels. It was also really quiet and as Paris is a noisy vibrant city this was a bonus. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great too. I was travelling on my own and felt very safe staying here the staff were very accommodating. Great location also so the Marais shopping district is a few mins away.

Louise

This hotel is in a great location - The Marais. I loved the convenience of that and walked to most places. The staff at the hotel were great, the breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety. My room looked over the road, but it was really very quiet (although I was there on the two quietest days Sunday and Monday). My room was very small but really you dont go to Paris to sit in your hotel room! It was totally comfortable and met my needs.
